This is it. There's no turning back. I reached a personal plateau long ago. THAT is the hardest part, admitting your own shortcomings.

I hemmed and hawed for days until I spoke in front a group of people and realized my hands were wet from fear. My decision was finalized when an old lady, annoyed, snapped at me to "talk louder." I was mumbling incoherently to myself...

I've done different drugs in my life. But I never feared this particular one so much. Is it because it's a serious step, not a casual night's fun?

No, no, I'm not committing suicide. Good grief. Who do you think I am? Anyone who knows me knows I love life, perhaps more than some. Life just frightens me too.
