HISTORY

PLT Institute is a technical and vocational training centre, registered under the Education Act 1961. Having been established for 16 years, there are now three branches in Johor, located in BatuPahat, Kluang and Muar.
PLT Institute uses Mandarin as the main medium of instruction, emphasizing both theory and vocational practice. The institute was established to provide vocational training and higher education, train professionals in the industrial technology by holding on to the principle of "mastering the technology and advancing with time". The institute’s strict discipline, emphasis on both knowledge and skills trains up learned and expert talents with high moral and goal oriented, to serve the community and contribute to the nation.

In line with the 1 Malaysia concept, in Muar opened another branch, Kolej PBP in August 2010, using the Malay and Englishlanguage as medium of instruction, thus providing an alternative for the three main races to further their education.
Besides able to obtain SijilKemahiran Malaysia and Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia awarded by Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran (JPK), the students will also be able obtain external Diploma from Wigan& Leigh College, UK under a collaboration course. For student of Computer Engineering, who can also obtain a diploma in Computer Software Applicationfrom City & Guilds, UK. Therefore, students at PLT Institute have opportunities to obtain a wide range of certificates and diplomas, thus increasing their advantages of future employment.
