The Truth is, Marilyn Manson would be nothing had it not been for Trent Reznor. In reality, Trent Reznor chose Manson for his project because he realized the depths Manson would sink to achieve popularity. Reznor basically wrote the lyrics and music to Anti-Christ superstar, and then had to pressure Manson to even work because Manson was busy snorting cocaine and having gay sex. From news reports, Manson thew away thousands of dollars that he didnt even have, using various mind-altering drugs, and visiting local gay hangouts. After Antichrist Superstar came out, and was vastly successful (via the Shockingness of it), Manson's head became so huge, he cut off relations with Reznor. This move was obviously retarded, based on the sales of his next CD (and the fact that it really sucked). Manson believed he was artistic enough to create another huge hit on his own, and when it didnt work out, Manson got angry and started kicking his own bandmembers.
It's a sad story of an average performer who's ego took the leash and ran. Marilyn Manson has, once again, slipped into the crowd of has-beens. His career, lacking any artistic value, has gone on a steady slope to the pits. Mr.Manson's best move would be to hang it up, and call it quits. Any further attempt at being shocking or disturbing would simply be laughable, and pathetic.
Indeed, Manson should retire from any sort of artistic endevure. It seems lately, Manson has been trying his hand at painting and drawing. Based on his latest 'works', artists from around the globe have been up-in-arms because of obvious lack of talent. The same people who believe fecal art is beautiful, are begging Manson to give it up. Another sad ending to the saga of Marilyn Manson.
