The mission of MannaFest is to provide quality music for benefit functions throughout Michigan and Northwest Ohio. The band debuted in November of 2001, and received a standing ovation for their headlining set at "Gimme Shelter," a benefit for Washtenaw County's Interfaith Hospitality Network, a shelter for homeless families. Ever since, they have continued to headline the IHN event, and have helped raise over $100,000 for causes ranging from families in need of costly medical care, to Ele's Place in Lansing, and the Ann Arbor Area Committee for Peace.

MannaFest performs an eclectic mix of music that is sure to please most any audience.  Material ranges from original songs to familiar favorites by artists such as The Beatles, Sheryl Crow, and Sarah McLachlan.  Factors that set MannaFest apart from other bands include diverse lead vocals with an emphasis on tight, rich harmonies; skillful, solid musicianship; and a repertoire of songs that often incorporate a positive or spiritual message.  They are a band that is passionate about their mission with a desire to share their gifts with others.  The band's love of music is evident, and audiences leave performances feeling uplifted and energized.
