Hallway Independent Productions began in 1998 as a group of College Students with a passion for film/stage. The original group was founded by Lyman Hall...Tony Hall on "Hall In The Arts". After some limited success and many difficulties securing funding, most of the original members moved on to L.A. or New York to try thier luck in the coastal film industry. Without many options to continue, the original group disbanded in 1999 and went their separate ways.

In 2003, Lyman Hall once again had the opportunity to re-create the magic that was Hallway Productions to what it is today...Hallway Independent Productions. What you're reading at this moment is part of it's rebirth. Starting with some amazing opportunities and a successful association with
Houston Mediasource ...home of WTP-TV Channel 17 (Warner Cable in Houston), "Hall In The Arts" was born.

"Hall In The Arts" is the main television broadcast show of Hallway Independent Productions at this time. In a regular broadcast of "Hall In The Arts" you get the chance to see many talented artists that aren't normally broadcast from Houston and it's surrounding communities. Mostly "Hall In The Arts" focuses on local College Arts Institutions, but some of the mainstream arts associations in the city of Houston are just now coming on board. In the next few months, tune into "Hall In The Arts" and you will get even more opportunities to see great performances from the city of Housotn and it's surrounding communities.
