The Manhattan Tallulahs - On Tour and Beyond
Welcome, children, and gather 'round.  This is where you will find the history of the Manhattan Tallulahs and ongoing updates.  Please feel free to email us at [email protected] with your comments, contributions, and what-have you.  Meldonna, your webMistress, has a fondness for witty quotes from the famous, the not-so-famous, and the imfamous.  Pass them on to us, with source, and you will find them posted here and credited to your screen name  (or any other name you might prefer).  And without further ado...

Tallulah on Tour

The Manhattan Tallulahs, being bored out of their skulls one weekend in March of 2000, decided to take their act on the road.
With nothing more than a jambox, some inspirational compact discs, and a bag-in-a-box-of-red-wine, they set out on the road.  After ten to twelve ugly hours on the road, the Tallulah Tour 2000 found itself in the thriving metropolis of Little Rock, Arkansas.  After scant shut-eye, it was Saturday, and the
Tallulahs headed to their first engagement.  Not only were we a smash at the retirement picnic that afternoon for Meldonna's favorite boss, but continued on to make a suprise appearance onstage at her baby sister's spring do later that evening..  From these seminal performances  (and several engagements at Mama Sharon's in Liberty Hill), much like the early Beatles in Hamburg, Germany, the Tallulahs found their groove.  The wonderful relationship of the Sisters Tallulah expanded and grew.  And much like Grace Adler's scar on her elbow, the relationship is ugly, but permanent.

The next public appearance of note occured on the occasion of Gregory's Alignment, coinciding with that
of the planets, April 29, 2000.  No one who attended that event will ever forget the entrance.  They were definately in Full Tallulah.  And got fuller.

Tallulah Holiday

December 2000

Having survived a somewhat cruel summer, and a boring and annoying fall, the Tallulahs have both relocated.  Never fear, children - just because Tallulah finally made her Escape, the saga is not over.  Au contraire - ain't nothing but good times ahead!  Updates will be forthcoming over the season of good cheer, and the new year.  Bottoms up, babies!

A new year is upon us   (and for those of
us who can count, a new millenium).  Who knew four months ago, when it seemed we were living in the middle, nay, the bowels of Hell itself, we'd be freezing our tookases off now!  Sunbelt, my ass!  But one soldiers on.

Christmas was wonderful, New Year's was blurry, and Gregory discovered the hot in sake.  All around, not too bad.  And we all have new horizons to look forward to.  So don't cry for me, Argentina.
Spring 2001 to Summer 2002

Atsui!!!  There was no winter in Texas this year; of course, there are only three seasons in Texas anyway -- spring, summer, and
football.  The Manhattan Tallulahs went pretty much underground, only making  a couple of cameo appearances  at Eeyore's Birthday Wing-Ding.  Saving our pennies not only for that fabled rainy day, but also to make our Grand Exit, we commenced ridding ourselves of unnecessary baggage of all sorts.  Not that life was completely uneventful...Gregory had a fabulous vacation in the Land of the Rising Sun, and Meldonna had custody of a bunny for a month.  A good thing, that -- I had to have somebody to talk to while Misha was abroad...
