What is Tallulah? It is many things - a state of mind, a sense of adventure, an absurd frolic, and an exploration of the otherside, to name but a few. Our patron saints include (but are not limited to) Courtney Love, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rosalind Russell, Nine Inch Nails, Joan Crawford, Marlene Dietrich, Edith Piaf, Grace Kelley, Kurt Cobain, Alla Nazimova, Marilyn Manson, Bette Midler, Bill Hicks, Karen Walker, the B52's, Greta Garbo, Annie Lennox, Nina Van Horn, and the immortal Tallulah Bankhead, whose wit and lifestyle we worship to this day.
We must give thanks to certain individuals who have helped shape, define, and warp the entity that is Tallulah (in no particular order): our Tia Gina; Christian, our technical and mechanical consultant; Iona, our hairdresser; Myah; Dee; Sharon and all the folks on the Hill; Stella and all the folks on the Hill in Arkansas: Margie, our Chiricahua shaman; the mysterious T; Professor Takahashi, our Japanese cultural consultant; and, of course, Booboo, the Bunny that Thumped Tokyo, Yokohama, Osaka, Kyoto, Sapporo and is currently headed south to Okinawa.
