…Then M&M Fast Track is the Toastmasters Club for YOU!

M&M Fast Track is a Toastmasters Club based in Madison, WI.  We meet on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month at 6:30 pm on the East Side of Madison – typically at the Pinney or Hawthorne Library (for more details on location of our upcoming meetings, please visit the Club Meetings tab on the left).

M&M Fast Track was created in June of 1995.  Many people ask about our name, M&M Fast Track.  Well, the first “M” is for Madison and the second “M” is for Mequon.  When our club was first started, the two co-founders were from Madison and Mequon and included their “roots” in the name of our club.  The term “Fast Track” refers to the option that we give our members to quickly progress through the 10 speeches in their first Toastmaster manual required to receive their Certified Toastmaster award (CTM).

Awards

Did I mention that our club has also won many awards in 2000 – 2001:

*  Educational Module Award  – Completing 2 CTMs by September 1st

*  5 New Members Award

*  Beat the Clock Award – 5 new members in May and June

*  Phoenix Award – Building a club from 8 or less to 20 in 1 year.

*  Presidents Distinguished Club – Achieving 18 of 20 Toastmaster Club educational and administrative goals (1 of 2 in Wisconsin!!)

Testimonials

M&M Fast Track has helped a number of our members break free of their public speaking fears.  Here are a few testimonials from our members:

“Most of my working career has been spent in management.  About two years ago after losing a management position I was faced with a new challenge - to find the confidence level I once had and believe in myself again.  I landed a few interviews after pouring everything I had into my resume, written requirements of the positions and cover letters.  I failed miserable and remember secretly hoping I would never see the people again that I had faced in those interviews.  I found that failure is a good thing, it forces us into making decisions that include realizing that we need others in our lives in order to grow and succeed.  I also joined Toastmasters as I knew I needed to be stretched.  I made a commitment to my Toastmasters club, to be there and to finish my CTM.  Oh, and did I mention that I have a new job!  Toastmasters has been good for me.”

– Jeanette Edwards

“I recently gave a presentation with one of my coworkers at the Garden Expo, something I never would of dreamed of doing before I started at Toastmasters”

– Rebecca Strang

“About two years ago I had to give a presentation at a seminar on a subject that I was uncomfortable with – and unprepared for.  My speaking confidence was ruined.  Toastmasters has helped to rebuild my confidence and I am comfortable in my speaking abilities.”

– Mike Koplin
