Weddings

THE CEREMONY

The structure that has proved most popular to patrons in the past is as follows:

• We perform background music of your choice (see repertoire list for ideas) for 30 minutes before the ceremony is scheduled to begin.
• Two musical selections are usually performed at the ceremony - during the bridal entrance (processional) and the recessional (exit of the bride and groom). However, you may want more or fewer items performed during your ceremony, which we are happy to do upon request.
• Directly after the ceremony, there is the option of having us perform music if the guests are going to be mingling; this is more common for garden or outdoor weddings or in church foyers, while the wedding party is in the sanctuary with the photographer.

THE RECEPTION

The reception has a simpler structure. The musicians can play in two different formats:

• Performing at the entrance of the reception venue while people arrive. This provides light pre-dinner music before a band takes over during dinner.
• Performing throughout the reception, from pre-dinner drinks to dessert. We can provide a wide range of musical styles to cater to your needs (see repertoire list).
• If you would prefer another structure, we are happy to accommodate any ideas you might have.
