Menu:
Garlic chicken and artichokes (with brown rice)
Well, the combination deep-fryer/slow-cooker turned out not to be much of a slow-cooker. We'd like to try the recipe again in a normal crock pot.
Scalloped potatoes
Buttermilk-cheese scones
With parmesan and flaked red pepper. They had a satisfying texture and density. Michael ate a whole bunch.
salad
cheap orange-flavored wine
(and I mean CHEAP) orange-flavored wine, which was kind of like weird slightly alcoholic Tang. This wine was improved by the addition of some limoncello.
