| My grandfather, Shri Gangaram lived in Rohiri, sindh in undevided India on the bank of Indus river.This was around 1890. They migrated from Multan to Sindh two centuries back. He had his own school cum hostel in Karachi.He was the principal of the school.He was an intellictual in that society and was able to teach almost all subjects. In 1947 october he along with family migrated to Ajmir in India and opened a school for refugees.After 6 months, He opened a school in Ulhasnagar in Bombay named Sindh national high school. My father, Shri Radhakrishan was manager at a cental bank in Hyderabad,Sindh. He had to leave Sindh as his life was in danger. He came to Bombay and fought for the same job at Central bank, head office. He was posted at Surat Central bank. He served for 46 years in central bank. He served in Surat, Baroda and finally Ahmedabad branch. |
