These are the six judges who have been accepted into the judging group

Neil Hamilton. Responsible for providing the original idea for the cup.Refusing to leave uni, he is setting up a Distant learning service for his former department of Chemistry. He is a founding member & bassist of Burnage band "Lobster".
Jon "The Master Bluesman" Martin. Currently making a living as a Patent Analyst. Jon is the Southerner of the group and as such is concentrating on the price of the drink. A vodka drinker since 17, now mainly indulges in lagers and especially bottled Pilsner & Pils beers. Likes his music and objects to repetitive and soulless dance being played in pubs. As well as judging, he is producing the web site you're reading now. Describes his favorite pubs as being unpretentious and serving beer in proper curved, not straight glasses.
Andrew Gilday. Hailing from the Yorkshire / Derbyshire netherlands, his North East routes shine through as the resident ale and Guinness expert. Graduated from an Astrophysics degree at the University of Manchester and hangs around with Rock Legends 'Lobster'. Expect harsh judging from the Yorkshire Man.
Andy Robertson. Andy, known as Robbo, is no stranger to a public house and brings with him 32 years experience of hard drinking. Brought up in and around London, Scotland and god (only) knows where else; he currently resides in Leigh (a place where you are almost guaranteed that next door is a licensed premises). He describes a fine pub as "one which serves alcohol" and the competition should provide him with the perfect excuse to carry out his second hobby - selling counterfeit goods from a holdall !
Ali "The Entropic Man" Ligertwood. Our very own master of chaos is currently in between degrees. A student for almost 10 years, he brings both experience and an enigmatic streak to the judging. Also a founding member of "Lobster".
Laura - Lives with Jon and Neil brings an infrequent female perspective to the cup and offers insight from her years at The Brook
