Since our nation is based off of various smaller historical tribes who all historically intermarried with each other, we feel the tribal council should include
a different council member for each historical Surname, thus making the tribe ran by ALL historical family groups. We also want to include a higher council which will have a different person from each historical tribe or nation to represent them tribes or nations.
Historically when the last Saponi Chief died at Fort Chritianna, the Saponi nation had decided for the nation to be ran by 12 people who we believe represented the various tribes and families which made up the Saponi nation, we believe this shows that our ancestors belived each historical family group and tribe should have equal control over the nation.
