Jambase is a great web site for live music lovers! With a few key strokes you can find out what bands are playing on a particular date or in a certain city. We use this site a lot!
If you are curious about what fills my ears all day, my Audioscrobbler page compiles this information. Go to the upper right hand corner of this page and click on the radio tower and your computer will be able to stream random songs from my music library.

As an environmentalist, I am particularly interested in birds and their habitats. The Audubon Society web site has a lot of information ranging from attracting wildlife to your yard to environmental activism. I have participated in the Great Backyard Bird Count for the past two years. Check out the nationwide results.
I have been a vegetarian for nearly 10 years. There are many different reasons for not eating meat and poultry. A vegetarian diet is not only good for people's health, but good for the planet as well--particularly if you buy locally-grown organic vegetables and fruit. In the summer, we get most of our vegetables from our own organic garden. During the winter, we visit Kulwicki's Organic Produce stand at the Farmer's Market.
Check out 101 Reasons Why I am a Vegetarian to learn why people decide to chose a diet that is more sustainable for the earth.
We enjoy cooking vegetarian meals. Check out these web sites for great main dish, dessert, and side dish recipes:

We love to go camping. Indiana State Parks have some great locations within a hop skip and a wobble! St. Patrick's Park in South Bend offers great hiking and canoe rentals too.
The first day out with the bus, we made 12 new friends at the Farmer's Market! Volkswagens have a special way of bringing people together! Watch this link for our summer adventures with our 1977 VW bus and the other buses that we meet along the way.
A friend of ours opened Just Goods, a shop located across from the Farmer's Market in South Bend. She offers clothing and goods for the home that are made with respect for the environment and the workers. We can all make a difference in the world by purchasing goods that help to build a just world, preserving the earth for future generations. I encourage a trip to Just Goods (check her website for shop hours.)
If you are searching for earth-friendly products, check out the Green Guide. This web site is a great resource! It offers information on green home tips, product reviews, environmental health and wellness, and green living advice.
