Music

Audioscrobbler is a page that compiles statistics on what I music I listen to. Fascinating, no? The best part is that if you'd like, you can click on the radio tower looking thing in the upper right hand corner and (if you have some kind of music player in your computer) it will begin to stream music that I listen to, in random order.

Our music list is located here. It is a list of the music that we have available to trade. It is set up as a database, so you can search the recordings that everyone has, and contact other people for trades if you find something that you would like. All of the recordings listed were recorded with permission from the group in question. We record when we go to shows, and then trade recordings with others! It has been a fun and rewarding hobby of ours some time.

Some friends of ours from the South Bend area have a band that is touring nation-wide and growing into a big scene. They are called Umphrey's McGee. Visit their site for information about when they might be playing in your area. It's a great live show!

The Library

I am a reference librarian at the St. Joseph County Public Library. We have a great website at the library, and we even have Instant Message reference! Just type askSJCPL into your Instant Messenger program, and ask away! It is available any time the library is open!

My school websites

I've been taking some web development classes for my Master's Degree. The websites for those classes can be accessed at this address.

Serious Information

One of the best news sources available today is Democracy Now! and it is available to audio stream for free! Check the website for instructions on downloading a one hour daily radio show!

AlterNet is another great source of information. You'll see these two sources quoted on our weblog frequently.

Happenings: Left of the news

Less Serious Information

The Onion is my favorite spoof news source.

Who would have thought that the White House would be such a fountain of mirth? Well I would have thought it! Especially these days!
