Intimacy with God As women who live in a world that assaults our self esteem on every side, we often fall into agreement with our adversary who wants us to believe we can not measure up to Christ�s expectations and we fall short of the relationship Christ desires to have with us. Forgiveness (general) This is a study my 17 year old daughter did for a Sabbath school lesson. There is no way we can have peace if we hold unforgiveness! Forgiving our abusers Many times we as women have to deal with tough issues~~one of the toughest can be healing after abusive relationships and how Christ wants us to deal with our abuser. Spiritual warfare Where will we ever get the power to effect change in our lives??!!! The ball is in our Court, GOD has done HIS part. Intercessory prayer It is amazing, the power we hold over GOD's heart when we come before HIM in behalf of another. Prayer with Fasting Have you come to a point in your life when you need to send God a 911 call? Maybe God is wanting your undivided attention! Sowing to reap a Harvest of Righteousness What does it mean to be a mentor? Does God really expect us to teach each other how to live and love in our family relationships?What is my responsibilty to the younger women I come into contact with in the body of Christ? Martha, Martha, Martha! No this is not a revisit to "The Brady Bunch" but a look at the Martha and Mary scenario...once again. There is joy in serving Christ! We have each been given gifts and God expects us to be good stewards of our gifts. We each have a place and function as a part of the body of Christ--Although Jesus said it is needful to sit at HIS feet and learn of HIM we were not created to just warm a church seat for an hour or so each week! God desires to use our scars to minister to those who are walking where we once walked. Some one is waiting for you to come into their lives and show them Jesus! Col 3:14-16 And above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfectness. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which you also are called in one body, and be thankful. Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. |
