My CD Drive on the laptop has completely died a death on me!
I have spent most of today downloading different drivers for
it with absolutely no luck!
Its an external Freecom CR/RW which I though would be great
for the job.
Windows XP recognises it as being there. It even recognises it
as being a CD/RW but it doesn't matter what CD I use, I always
get the same blooming error message! - CD Drive not ready!!!
I am beginning to think it might be time to
look into using a tower PC inside my cabinet!
Oh - well......
