Stripped the cabinet of it's electrics - Got a shock!
Not from the about of wiring inside the cabinet (which was
rather minimal - considering) but from somewhere around the
back of the screen.
Denzel - (the guy who sold me the cabinet) assured me that I
would be okay to touch the electrics by now, however - he was
wrong!
It was only a small shock - but as I stupidly thought that I
would be okay, it kind of caught me off guard!
Here's my thoughts on electricity - you cant see it, you cant
hear it, you cant even smell it - by by-god - you certainly
can feel it!If you take a close look at the picture
on the left, you can see the speaker mounting section complete
with strip light for lighting up the marquee. Unfortunately
the main power pack is dead - so I will replace the strip
light myself.
