			Student Membership for SMETA
			All the students of UG and PG (regular and part time) of Dept. of Metallurgical Engg. shall become the member of SMETA and pay an annual subscription of Rs. 100.00 for the various activities of SMETA.

			Proposed Activities of SMETA in 2004-2005
			1. To organize Invited Technical talks, Seminars, Quiz Contest, Mock Interview & Group Discussion, Industrial Visits and Cultural activities once in a month. 2. To launch a web site of SMETA, Dept of Metallurgical Engg. NIT, Durgapur. 3. To publish a SMETA Magazine by the end of May 2005.
