"Me"

Never found interest in being part of all the glimmer and glam
Always told what to do wasn't in my heart.
Did what I felt was right, simplicity,
love and eternal happiness is all I had in sight
Took each moment in life as they came, I
dealt with them in a way I could never explain.
To love one another in the world today, one
must find enough guts to love oneself first ,
to quench your mind, heart and souls thirst.

"Amazed"

Can't explain why I am how I am,
Always felt as if I stood out in the big picture,
Stood out from the rest of the clan.
It's not something that I planned
Was never bothered by this role I attained, although I sometimes felt lonely and all alone.
Been told a million times, wow girl you are losing your mind
Never said much to that, just thought to myself,
If you could see things the way I see them, you would be amazed at your finds!

"Kindness Goes a Long Way"

One dismal evening a couple months ago,
When the sky was dark and the streets were
covered with snow,
I had nothing specific on my mind and wasn't
sure what to do, since it was one of those
cold nights when you just seem to feel blue,
I sat on my bed and read some of my poems,
actually quite a few.
Some poems told tales of specific stories, other told tales of victories, failures and special
glories.
There was one about a boy I had met, and deep in my heart I knew I'd never forget
Another was about a boy I now regret. Others
were about people who had helped me through
my life's pains, some were about my life's gains.
Then I came to the one I wrote about death,
And thought to myself, we are only given a short time to make people happy before we die,
so why not give random acts of
kindness a try.

"PEACE"

Is there a place where one can go,
A place where one can go and
truely express who they are.
A place where one is not questioned by
their appearance, beliefs or actions.

A place where hate and violence is non-existant
and unheard of,
Why do we only hope and dream about
this place, when we can be out
making this place real.

Instead of saying, let's make a difference,
go out and be the difference.
Then the loneliness that drapes your
present thoughts will remain true,
if you remain true to them.

Your perfect world, your perfect world
will be built at last.

"WORDS"

I took a moment from my day,
and wropped it up in things you say
The kind and gentle words I miss,
I'll hear them pretty soon unless
our relationship starts to break
And all our points we've tried to make
are tossed with thoughts
into a bin
As time leaks out,
our lives leak in
If life were easy
and not so fast
I'd think about the future
and not the past.

"Guardian Angel"

There are those who believe
so the story is told,
That at birth you receive
your own angel to hold.
You come into the this world
on a wing and a prayer,
And throughout your lifetime
She will always be there
A Guardian Angel
Who will guide what you do,
Her pure essence of love
sent to watch over you

Don't tell me that you understand,
don't tell me that you know...
Don't tell me how I will survive,
how I will surely grown.
Don't tell me this is just a test,
that I am truely blessed
That I am chosen for this task
apart from all the rest.
Don't come at me with answers
that can only come from me
Don't tell me how my grief will pass,
that I will soon be free...
Don't stand in pious judgement
of the bonds I must untie...
Don't tell me how to suffer,
Don't tell me how to cry.
My life is filled with selfishness,
my pain is all I see...
But I need you all, and I need
your love unconditionally.
Accept me in my ups and downs,
I need some one to share
Just hold my hand and
let me cry and say
"My Friend...I Care"
