»» PRIDE FC LAUNCH ANNOUNCED  (21.4.2005)
Earlier today, the Owner of Malone Efed Entertainment (MEE), Matt Malone, held a press conference to announce the launch of his new project, PRIDE Fighting Championships. Although it will be run similarly to existing efed promotions, PRIDE FC will contain a revolutionary rulebook to simulate a whole different e-wrestling experience for 2005.

Soon after the press conference above, MEE announced that the new rulebook that would drive PRIDE FC was to be published and released at the end of April. The rulebook contains much detail on how matches will be laid out in PRIDE and methods to victory etc. An early draft presented illustrated that these would include KO, submission, judges decision etc but all in a pro-wrestling environment.

Also announced today by the MEE offices was the cable television deal that had been met between Spike TV and PRIDE FC. Although no date was confirmed, a new weekly show, Fists Of Fire, is expected to debut on the mentioned channel as soon as PRIDE FC has superstars signed to its roster, which is expected to be mid-May to early June at the latest.
