it's been awhile hasn't it?
I got an interview with the faculty of Education at York University. I had it this past Saturday - Feb 28th - and I think it went okay. I could have added a lot more of the info I had but I forgotten to use my cue cards =| so hopefully they thought it went well. I'll find out what happens around April like the rest of the Universities //sigh// it's the waiting I think it's going to kill me xD
I had a long weekend, what with having work and having to wake up early to prepare for my interview too. This week is going to be pretty hard too as I have work pretty much 7 days straight. //sigh//
its going to be a long week .. at least I have the tickets for Sound of Music to keep me entertained and excited =)

it's been too long since i've been here to update :)
i'm safely home in Toronto now though so it's all good. HK was amazing as usual, working there for a month and a half was hard but i learned a lot and i think i dont mind going back to HK to work anymore. I think im more prepared now because i know how people work in HK.
im slowly getting back to my daily activities here. I've applied to teacher's college and hopefully i get in. I also applied to grad school in UT for my masters in arts :P i really hope i get into something. that would be such an awesome thing to do!!!
while i wait though im working at an elementary school as a TA. it definitely helps with getting experience with working with children. i love it there, the staff are nice enough but i think im still holding myself back. Other than the days i work at the school i get to sleep in so it's good. the weather is turning out worse than usual, colder than usual but it's not something im not use to :)

I'm in HK!! graduation went smoothly althought it was alot of waiting around and it was quite boring :P
i'm currently working at an office in HK. it's boring as hell and all i do is paperwork and admin stuff. i mean it's not great but at least i know what happens within the shipping and ordering companies. so much stuff goes on and you need to hurry here and hurry there. *nodz*
hopefully i wont be working here for the WHOLE summer, i promised myself that i can get part of august and the rest of september to myself and my friends here. i have to get alot of shopping done before i leave and i wont have time if i keep working so much!!
which reminds me, i need to get my coworkers something for all their hospitality. i think i'll just get them eggtarts or something yummy lmao .. there really isn't much i can get them since they live here and they know more places around here than i do :)
wednesday is my day off since im going to Ocean Park! woooohoooo a day without work and a day without having to worrie about what time to get up haha. i've been getting up at 6:30am to get to work for 8:30am -- the times are killing me AND i dont normally leave the office until 5:30ish or 6pm .. although that's the regular time but i know that alot of my coworkers dont leave until 6ish or 7ish :O that's just CRAZYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
yeah im bored stiff .. i gotta get back to work :P

First, a big shout out of HAPPY BDAYS to Kristin Lajoie and my old buddy Gabby Chan!! i hope they have a really really good day, even though they wont be seeing this blog anytime soon :) hehe
It's exam time again and it's the LAST of the ones i'll ever have unless i decide to take on another degree (which i might end up doing since im getting interested in psyche lol) -- but seriosuly though I'M FINALLY GRADUATINGGGG
i haven't been getting enough sleep lately since it's exam time -- just finished the one i was dreading yesterday so most of the nervousness and anxiety is all gone but i still have one more to go. i should be getting out of the house more often but really i dont have a drive nor do i have any place to go. i'll be going out later with my dad hopefully because i need to go and pay for my plane ticket later :O haha have i even mentioned about where im going?
i dont know if this will be long term but i'm leaving canada, toronto for a few months (3 to be exact) and going off to Hong Kong to visit my relatives and seeing if the govt will let me get my id card there. if i get my id card most likely i'd go find a job there and stay there longer than the 3 months that i have planned -- most likely the year or so. i guess it's a plan for now aint it? i dont know, i've been having some self esteem problems lately and seeing how my friends are getting rejected from teacher's college isn't helping either. alot of us wants to go to teacher's college and it's just kinda hard but in all reality it's kinda of making me pissed off as well. a bunch of our classmates who have gotten into teacher's college are saying that they lied on the application for their refereneces .. and to think that they'll be teaching our kids makes me disgusted. perhaps i should have done that myself and see if i could have gotten in -_- but i do know not everyone's like that so i'm kind of glad.
but like i was saying, i'd be going to HK for 3 months and hopefully end up staying there with a job that i like. i was actually planning on studying there too -- perhaps a masters? i dont know though .. i might just end up coming back and taking night school while i work here to get another degree in psychology -- my dad's telling me that it wont help me though unless i continue with it but who knows right? i wish i could figure out where i'm going in life and just know that i wont be a bum and live off my parents for the rest of my life, i do want my own independence but sometimes i still think i'm quite immature. o.o i need people around me to survive and just having to watch people moving on with their lives kind of makes me sad o.o i need a job with alot of people lol that might help? i dont know we'll see how everything goes right? getting tad nostalgic again blah
graduation is on June 16th and i'm leaving on the 18th if i get the plane tickets i want. no partying for me ^^ i'll party before hand, i just hope i dont get a letter saying i cant graduate because that would royally piss me off.

i've gone to the SPICE GIRLS concert and it was a blast!! totally loved it. I'm at school right now and there's really not much to do ... however i have been FREAKING out since this month and next month will be HELL MONTHS!!! :( i'm having to freak out over my papers and exams *sighs* so much to do with so little time .. i hate it when it nears the end of the school =\
i need to pull myself together so i can get everything done :O i dont want to slack now but seriously it's hard not to slack off *weep* i'm worried for my queer class as it only has two papers and one exam :( and i dont think i did well on my last paper .. i just hope i can still graduate *sighs*
i want food; my stomach is making so much noise and now i should get offline and listen to my prof <3

let's see, what is there to update?! there really isn't much to update on. i went to school yesterday when i didn't have any classes because AF needed people to table and sell tickets. i was surprised that i ended up tabling alone for awhile even though i tried to see if anyone could come and keep me company. lol i dont like tabling alone O_O makes me feel awkward. couple of the exec members came and visited for awhile which was nice so i didn't have to be alone lol still with all that tabling i didn't end up leaving school until 5:45pm anyway because i had to wait for a friend (who was 'nice' enough to give me a drive back home afterwards - more like i made him give me a ride home lmao). the ride from the bus and the car took about an hr or so because of the freaking snow storm. school cancelled night classes too :O :O which is a big surprise because YORK never closes on any day!!! lol it's like the second one in a week so that's a HUGE DEAL with YORK lol anyway, no one went to class this morning except for like 10 people perhaps and only 6 people went to tutorial :P haha READING WEEK is next week so i understand why. so now im here until 5:30 because someone scheduled a meeting :( it's not really fun to be at school for no reason =| especially if one has to stay at school for 8 hrs *sighs* oh btw, remind me to kill Aaron for scheduling a meeting on CHINESE NEW YEARS at 5:30 pm -_- I WANNA GO HOME!! **whines**
have i updated about going to the SPICE GIRLS concert?! :O well I AM lol I'm so damn excited :P i went on a download spree and downloaded a whole bunch of Spice Girls songs so i'd be prepare for the 25th of Feb =) AF semi formal is coming up soon o.o i still need to find a dress for that -_- but whatever, i might just end up wearing the same dress as i did last yr o.o i dont really care anymore.
the snow storm last night was pretty bad, i think we ended up having a meter of snow here and my dad didn't even bother trying to shovel the snow this morning. he just shovelled two strips of the drive way that would allow the car wheels to move properly lol it's a nice day out though after the storm, it usually is .. but it's abnormally cold out =\ wish it was a little warmer like last night when it was snowing like crazY!!
im sitting here by the window in Vari Hall and seeing the buses passing by makes me want to go home. it's so very tempting and i'm wondering if i'd be in big trouble if i just left?? lol i'd probably be oh well :P Stephy is coming soon to join me and keep me company since im just doing nothing right now ^^ yay company lol anyway im off .. cya

Hello Hello :P another update so soon!? lol haha yes i guess that's it. i just thought i'd write this down because today was so eventful :P
work @ 7am to 3pm @ Angus Glen:
it was good today, nothing bad happened. i went into the water ^^ which is good for me .. had a bit of a scare with some kids not being able to swim properly but whatever all is well
the fun comes from the evening of my day
family time the rest of the day: @ about 8pm-ish - give or take half hr to 45mins
to make the story short - i got stranded -- YES STRANDED -- on a very main intersection of the road lol that was an interesting event for me :P first time in a tow truck!!! here's what happened...
eariler in the evening mum and my sister took the crapier car to my grandma's house because it was family night and we usually have dinner together. well i got a call from my grandma telling me that my mum's car stalled and died at gas station on Kennedy (main road towards grams). so my dad and i took the other car trying to find my mum's car so we can give that car's battery a boost lol .. it works; so my mum and sister drives off in the 'non crap' car and goes home without a second thought for my dad and me, leaving us in the 'crap' car. well since the battery works and everything seemed to be in working order, my dad and i leave the gas station and we try to drive homewards with however much battery is left in this stupid car. after turning back onto the main road going north the car dies again trying to go up the stupid little hill. O_O nothing is left in the car battery so my dad and i got stranded in the middle of the fucking road near a ramp to hwy 407. :P we stalled so much traffic lol it was hilarious how many people were looking and pointing at us lol i was very tempted to wave back ^^ haha anyway dad called the tow truck company (CAA) and tried to give directions to the guy but he didnt seem to have any luck o.o leaving me with giving directions and information :P apparently im not too terrible with directions because the tow truck eventually finds us (like after 30-45mins lol) but before the tow truck came an ambulance stopped and actually flashed all it's lights and helped us out by giving us two emergencies flares so the cars behind would know something is wrong and wouldn't kill us while they zoomed down the fucking hill. oh man it was kool ^^ paramedics and caa drivers are really nice O.o i think it's because they drive around the city all day without talking to alot of people so whenever they can chat they do (this is especially true with CAA drivers lol)
anyway that was my interesting day lol i didnt get home until 9pm or so lol but it was all in good fun ^^ riding in the tow truck was fun!! o_o and it was clean .. much cleaner than my own car lol haha
anyway im totally exhausted gnite

HAPPY BELATED NEW YEARS?! :P haha yes i know it's late for an update but whatever. School's doing good i guess and Chinese New Years is approaching fast :) lots of red pocket money soon!! YAY
recently i'm having trouble trying to concentrate on school work but whatever. i should have to concentrate more ^^ haha Anyway, i'm tabling right now at school and doing nothing in particular, mostly just sitting around and doing my own thing on the computer :P really should promote the semi formal for february 16th haha
anyway need to write an essay and perhaps need to start chatting with people in general to get them to go to semi X|

It's December already!?! :O school's fly by real fast this year and it's my last yr in University. I dont know what I'm going to be doing with my life but whatever. I recently just dropped a course so now I'm a school course shy of graduating O_O perhaps I wont be graduating this year like I was planning to -_- Anyway, I might as well try to see if I can pick something up in the new term and if not, I'll find something in the summer and just graduate in October :P I'll get my chance to graduate -- DONT WORRIE!!!
lately, I've been trying to do alot of things at once. I have a bunch of things that's due and exams are coming up. All my essays are done now except for one BIG BIG essay which is due on the same day as my exam date -_- I need to actually start working on that and have enough time to study O_O but if I know myself I probably will end up studying and doing my essay at the same time if that's ever possible. PLUS I need to read at least 3-4 books for my other exam =\ I haven't done much of anything in that class and I'm worried how well I'll be doing in that class now that I have an exam on the 14th.
I'm slowly getting back on track for my work however, it is the Christmas season so perhaps that's why I'm having such a difficult time in trying to get my mind straighten out for work -_- I keep getting distracted like NOW!! :P oh well, I just hope I have enough time before this research paper is due =\

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE at last!! In class once again (that's all im ever in aren't i?) school's started and alot of stress has been given to me in only a month of school!! OMG so much is due in so lil time :P
i've made Kimo promise me to bug me until i start all my essays/responses/journals a week before they're due so i can get him to edit as much as possible O_O hopefully it keeps up
im in my Victorian Ghosts class ... I LOVE THIS CLASS it's the best compared to the other 5 classes i have :P i love i love i love

Classes have been getting more interesting but it's nothing special. I'm trying my hardest to finish up this Discography assignment that's due next week and start on my essay summary due the week after and start the group presentations :( so much work!! oh well...
Getting pretty excited once again. I'm going Downtown again to watch the Phantom of the Opera, this time a little closer but still, I'm quite excited. haha I dont know what made me get the tickets again but I guess it's because of my friend who wanted to see it again since he hasn't seen it since Highschool LOL
My house has been recently open for the public to view because my parents want to move out of the house. We've already bought a place so we're just waiting for people to see if they want our house now :( *sad* I dont particularly want to move because this location is pretty good for a university student, with transportation just down the street I dont have to bother my parents about driving me to school or anything. oh well .. I've packed up alot of stuff now and really my room hasn't been this clean since -- FOREVER XD haha I'll have to put up before and after photos of how clean it is now compared to the way it was before :P oh what fun!!
Work starts in 45mins and I should be getting ready to leave the house in 15mins or so...dinner with friends and finish up work tonight is the main priority. :P have funnnnnn

First day of Summer School today and to tell anyone the honest truth, it was amazing lol :P so happy that I took this Latin and Caribbean Popular Music class. It's absolutely relaxed and easy. And I think I will really enjoy the course. My prof isn't exactly a professor or so he keeps claiming lol We are allowed to call him by his first name :P oh joy lol first time I've had that before. I think I'll just keep calling him prof. O or something haha
We listened to alot of different mixtures of Caribbean music and it reminds me quite a bit of what I heard in my African Studies class in 2nd year. Our assignments aren't too hard but it's not that easy either. lol But apparently our first assignment is to go out to a venue and listen to the live music it has and write about it. I'm quite excited about that ... but I must find a place that has Latin/Caribbean-ish music for entertainment Hmm .. I hope it's not too hard to find ...
Work has been boring as ever but whatever it's good money. It's near the end of the session again and well I'm so happy for that ... I shall miss alot of my staff because they are pretty good to work with. Hopefully my new staff from the Fall would be just as fun as the ones I'm working with now. :) I think that's about it for now, I'm going to go ahead and look up some venues for Latin/Cari class :D

Summer school is starting this coming monday!! :D I'm not particularily excited for it but it is something different and I hope it would help me boost my GPA up.
Apparently, yesterday May 4th was the 18th anniversary of my family arriving and immigrating to Toronto, Canada. =\ Dad was telling me how it was at around 11pmish when we landed in Toronto on May 4th 1988(?). I think it was 1988, I'm actually not certain, I only know that I was 3 and a half years old then so I think I got the year right :D haha
So today was quite an eventful day. I went out to have dimsum with some of my friends (which included Andrew, aka Egg, his friend Felix, who is going to Shanghai this summer -- I envy him -- Viv, obviously one of my close girlfriends and her boyfriend and my buddie/chauffeur, Aaron). Probably had the cheapest dimsum in history for 5 people haha, the total came up to like $30 without tax XD it was insane. We didn't eat much but we ate enough? Egg, later on had to go and get a chocolate crepe with bananas and an icecream sandwich lol Viv was just stealing all of our food and taste testing it all :D good times
I got an email today about going into work to help out with Parent's Day tabling. I'm still debating whether or not I should go. I already told my supervisor that I'll go if I can convince my parents for it and my parents are all for it because I dont have to do anything and still get paid. I just dont know how I'm going to wake up early enough to go in =\ haha oh well *shrugs*
I think that's about it, just anticipating work this week and next and also summer school. Lots to do and well it all begins once again this monday :D MUST WORK HARD!!! JIA YOU

Exams are done, school is out and summer has finally begun. However, it shall end around early May because of summer school :P hehe Life's not too bad right now, I'm very nervous as to what is to happen with my Post Mod. mark though hopefully I did well in the exam but really that's the only class I'm quite worried over.
Like I promised before, I updated the layout. It's such a sweet layout if you ask me. I love the whole theme with the bunnies and everything and obviously it's not MINE but it's all credited down on the left hand corner :) Summer's going to be good, I'm going to work lots, do alot of school work and hang out/ chill out with alot of my friends whom I adore and love
Recently went out with Niala and we saw Meet the Robinsons and I'm in LOVE with that movie. I think it's brilliant!! I must get the Dvd when it comes out :P As so now, I have nothing to do. So I've been online quite a bit and really it's getting boring. The weather is turning really nice recently and it's nearly a year since I left for Shanghai with my friends :( I miss Shanghai so much and Hong Kong too!! I plan to make lots of money $$ and go back next year to China for the Olympics and to visit.
