The guy who
cooked everything for us! He is a great guy and cooks food really nice |

 |
| Fireworks!
One of the guys brought lots of fireworks with him (he builds them) and we had a
pleasant night with very nice fireworks display! |
Ok! Here
is one of the fireworks working. It changed colours lots of times but I think I must
have caught it in the start of it when it is very plain! |
And here we are!
A group photo. I am the one with the white T-Shirt. |
And all the
group for another shot! B.t.w. they are all nurses in our state hospital |

| Packed and ready
for the trek back, this time during darkness which makes it three times harder! |
The
reward after a hard day... a great dinner in a restaurant! On the left, with the
drinks, on the right with the food?! L-R (both pictures): Jeffrey, myself, Kurt,
Maria, Rueben |
All the group at
the freezing cold ticket booth.. Here we had to wait 2 hours for the next ferry and
we all slept out of exhaustion... |
Next set were taken during a whole day of climbing in Gozo
on 21 December:
The day was perfect for climbing. Sun, cold, no rain! We had already
decided spend it in Gozo climbing... but where? Jeffrey proposed we go to San Blas.
And we remained there! 5 minutes away from the car is a huge tower in the
middle of a plain. The climbs are savagely hard, ranging from 7A Fr till 8A Fr.
The photo on the left shows the massiv tower, with steep cliffs on the background.
Pity the cliff face and part of the tower faces have crumbling parts. Points
to note:
* The tower was much higher but some authority in Malta decided to raise the ground by a
third of the tower's total length so they can use it for olive production
* Their are lower-off bolts on the top of the tower so as to facilitate anchorage.
However some ignorant fool decided to steal the mouilloins and the chains that were
there. It's a pity things like this still happen on Malta where you can find
ignorants taking out things from climbs :-(

Eating a huge
meal after a hard climbing day at Sports Cafe in Gozo. Note the huge rack of spare
ribs on my plate. I wonder if they were taken from some type of monster... |

L-R: Kurt, myself, Maria, James. During a whole month camping in
May. It was a time of fun, drinking and studying for my upcoming german exam!
