Cassandra married James Elliott, born 01 August, 1781 in NC; died 21 September 1856, in Wayne Co., TN. Both Cassandra and James are buried in Elliott Cemetery in Wayne, CO.
James settled in Wayne Co. TN., shortly after the Revolution War. He cleared land and built a home. He was a large slave owner and had over 100 slaves at his death. Stansbury researchers state that there were many fine items of furniture in the home when it was burned during the Civil War.
