Renewing your Camarilla Membership in 2003
First off, I need to thank Wes Contreras, the US National Coordinator for taking the time to answer these questions. (These are not direct quotes.) As of November 8, 2003, this was correct. This page is unlinked, but I'm keeping it in the interest of historical records - I might need this info some day.
FAQ
- How much prestige do you get for renewing early?
- 50 General Prestige
- How early is early enough to get early renewal prestige?
- It must be renewed before the month it expires in. For instance, if you expire in Febuary (any day) it must be renewed before January 31st.
- Can I get prestige for helping someone renew thier membership? (letting them use my computer, loaning them my credit card, etc)
- No. But be nice and do it anyway.
- Can I get prestige for buying someone a renewal membership?
- Nope. But I'm sure you'll have someone's gratitude.
- Is there a grace period for renewing my membership?
- No, but get it taken care of as soon as you notice it's lapsed and we'll forgive you. :)
- What sort of confirmation do I get that I have succesfully renewed my membership?
- Almost immediately upon supmitting payment to white wolf (or a few hours later for hotmail and yahoo) you should recieve an email with a link that you need to follow. This email also serves as your confirmation. If you have any problems renewing your membership, the confirmation will be an email from membership services instead of the automated one.
- What sort of proof should I keep to prove that I have renewed ontime or early?
- Keep the confirmation email, the date you renewed, and the last 4 digits of the credit card you renewed with. Hoepfully if you borrow someoens credit card, they won't mind you keeping a record of the card. (If it's someoe else's card you should probably keep a record of was nice enough to loan you the card.) Keep these semi-permenantly, as you may need them if there is a problem, or durring future prestige audits.
- We're having a renewal party and all using poor Mike's credit card. Could this cause a problem?
- Most of the time everythign works right. But sometimes this situation gets a little funny. If it doesn't contact membership services (the email address is in the chapter list archives) to get it straightened out.
- How do I renew my membership?
- Go to White Wolf's Online Store, add the item to your cart, check out, get your email, click on the link.
