Well, after winning Best Adult Longhair at the Sydney Royal Easter Show, 2003, Valerie decided that it was time for this very lovely pig - "The Spinney Justin Thyme" a texel sow, to be bred, and the best thing to do when breeding your longhair is to give them a bit of a trim so things dont "get in the way"
RIGHT - Front  view - oh that hair!
Top view from the stand
Valerie seems a bit hesitant about the first snip........
No stopping her now!
Done one side, now the other.....
Top view of the cut off
And the finished product......
WHAT A CUTIE!

I am sure she will go on to produce some beautiful babies.

Many thanks to Valerie Howe, of The Spinney Stud, QLD Australia for letting me be there for this one off occasion.
