There's no Justice Like Angry Mob Justice
By: MastaCSG

You know, there's a time and place for everything, riots included. I can understand having a riot after a major sporting event when the home team has lost (or won). I can understand throwing a riot after a concert. Other appropriate venues for rioting include after church or after a particularly upsetting episode of Friends. But for God's Sakes, do people really have to riot at a school? You could almost hear Coolio singing Gangsta's Paradise in the background a la Dangerous Minds, starring Michelle Pfeiffer.

Here I am, ready and motivated to sleep through class when I see a bunch of punk students and riot police waiting outside of Concordia University. So when am I supposed to learn how to do my freaking Biochem assignment? I'm a lot of things... I'm a student. I'm a political activist. I'm a hellraiser!!! Semi-good husband... But one thing I am not, is a political activist!!! So why should my education have to suffer because a small group of fanatics have strong political convictions and no self control? I don't even know how to spell Benjamin Netanyahoo!

But you know what... I don't blame the students. I mean this isn't the first time a small group of students has made the whole of Concordia look like a zoo.
Then the protesters got violent...
Of course they were going to riot when they heard the former Israeli prime minister was going to be speaking. You dont have to be Miss Cleo to see that one coming. I really blame the school. A university, especially a multi-cultural melting pot such as ConU, shouldn't be a forum for ferocious political debate. Can't they just have a chat on Netanyahoo instant messenger service? Furthermore, knowing Concordia's history of having very, shall we say, energetic protests about the situation in Palestine, why would anyone in their right mind, invite the former Israeli prime minister to speak there? Would you have Eminem perform at the Gay pride parade? Would you invite Bill Cosby to speak at a skin head gathering?

The point is, we all have our affiliations and depending on what that may be, there are places where you can make your opinions available for others to hear. Maybe you're a Christian. If so, go to a church. Maybe you're a member of the GayKK. If so, go to Dr. Gaul's house. Maybe you're a mindless hooligan like some of the students at Concordia. If so, go to a WWE event. But don't bring your personal 'bags' to school and disrupt education for thousands of students. It's gotten to a point where you can't even walk into the building without being bombarded with political slogans.

So this one goes out to the crazy ConU rioters. "It's my school! Know that it is, and if you don't like it, you can get the 'eff' out... I don't give a eff... I... I pay the tuition in this motha effa And hey... Kiss my ass if you don't like it! But you guys take things too far. You take things too far! Give you an inch, you take 3, give you 4 inches you take 5, give you ropes and you wanna be cowboys!"
