As stated, there are three major sects
in Kindred society. These pretty much represent
the entirety of humanity, and the way we see things in
general. These three are The Camarilla, The
Sabbat, and the Independents. There are also the
Anarchs, but those are less of a Sect and more of a
loose grouping.
The Camarilla:
In the respect to Good and Bad, the
Camarilla are the "good guys" of Kindred
society. Not to say that they are REALLY good, or
that they fight for justice or anything, but, compared
to the Sabbat, they are the good ones. Mostly,
however, they just attempt to protect their own self
interests. When the Sects were first formed, the
Camarilla were the ones who believed that only by hiding
from Mortal society, and pretending to be a part of it,
could they find peace, defend themselves from those
hunting them, and maintain the power of their immortal
lives. And so, they formed the Camarilla.

The Sabbat:
As the Camarilla are the "good
guys," in respects to good and bad, the Sabbat are
the "bad guys" of Kindred society. They
believe themselves to be the true rulers of the world,
superior to humanity, and that they shouldn't have to
pretend to be humans because of this superiority.
Mind you, they DO hide, but only from necessity.
Their rules are much more harsh, much more "kill or
be killed" in nature, and they tend to be much less
humane and much more... sadistic.

The Independents:
Aside from good and bad, the
Independents are just that. Independent.
Their clans are not part of either of the Sects, or on
occasion members of specific clans leave them to become
independent, and they just do whatever they can to live,
and to survive. Sometimes a clan will be an
Independent one because it is their choice not to side
with either, and sometimes it is because they were
rejected by both sides. In either case, they can
work with either group, and sometimes individuals for
Independent clans even join one of the two Sects.

The Anarchs:
And then there are the Anarchs.
The only way to describe them is to simply say their
name. They rebel against all the Sects, simply
saying that they should live by their own devices.
Owing to no Elder, Clan, or Sect, these individuals are
the thorn in the collective side of the Camarilla, and
sometimes even the Sabbat. They are not any one
clan, but individuals, and they have no rules or laws,
except the law of Survival of the Fittest, and the
Strongest Shall Rule.
