We had an enjoyable day at the show yesterday, but there is very little to report. The judge just didn't like black or short haired dogs, nor lurchers or men, but that's how it is sometimes. We got a 1/3 in best mover, and he won the lurcher fastest recall, although not many took part. But it was a fun day which we all enjoyed, meeting up with friends and have enjoyable doggie talk etc. which is what it is all about. We heard of some more shows being held, and the highlight of the day was one of our new-found friends, won the SCAMPS heat with her small, long haired Lurcher, which may not even be one as she originally found it tied to a lamppost. WONDERFUL !!! |
