WHAT THOUGHTS WILL DO

Men are moulded by their thoughts;
Ideas are greater far
Than idle dreams of leisure time;
They make us what we are.
Thoughts are the molds of life;
Our life within them lies,
And when men stop their thinking,
Their soul withers and dies.
So careful then we ought to be
What we let within our heart;
Low thoughts may find a lodging there
And of us become a part.
Big ideas will make big character;
Low thoughts will drag us down,
And to fail to think is tragic death;
Hold fast to your thought crown.

Great thoughts will make you greater;
Small thoughts will shrink your mind.
Good thoughts will make you better;
No thoughts will make you blind.
Poor thoughts will bring you poverty;
Rich thoughts will bring you wealth,
Sick thoughts can bring but sickness;
Well thoughts will bring you health.
We are what our thinking is.
Our thoughts, we must confess,
Bring some men to their failure
And others to success.
Yea, thoughts do make the road we walk;
They blaze the trail we trod.
Bad thoughts will bring you nothingness;
Good thoughts will bring you God.
