NO ONE CAN
TAKE YOUR PLACE

"I would go," said one, "If I had the time,
But I'm much too busy, you see.
I'm obligated here at home, and
Besides there are plenty without me."

"I would go," said another, "If I had the money,
But my finances are much too low.
But I often think of them over there;
Sometimes I wish I could go."

"I've thought it over and would like to go,"
Another one thoughtfully said,
"But I've got a family, and it is plain
?Someone else should go in my stead."

"I once felt the calling," an old man replied
To the humble missionary's why,
"But I've waited so long I'd be little help,
Someone else should go in my stead."

And so it goes--we could call the roll
On folks who have reasons galore
For not heeding the call for laborers
On the far and distant shore.

But may the God of heaven stir our hearts tonight
To hear and heed His missionary call.
For the harvest is white and ready to reap.
The sheaves are beginning to fall.

Will you now think and pray and seek His will?
The end is near, and it's true
The work that God has planned for your life,
No one else can do, but you.
