GOOD MEDICINE



  


I went to the cabinet; I pulled up a chair;
I looked in the cabinet,but it wasn't there>
I looked and looked, why, I looked everywhere,
But I just couldn't find a better medicine than prayer.

There's medicine for headaches; there's medicine for pain;
They can cure people and make them sane.
They can grow hair where your head is bare,
But they won't find a better medicine than prayer.

Friends and loved ones, don't lag behind,
Or you won't be there when they make that great find
Of that home up in heaven. I want to be there.
If you want a ticket, just kneel down in prayer.
