AN ETERNAL EASTER DAY
If Easter were not true,
Then all our faith is empty,
And men have lived and died
For a vain Hope that couldn't be.

If Easter were not true,
The world's last hope is gone,
And men must live in constant fear
Of death and passing on.

But because our Easter's true,
Our faith is new and alive
Beyond the veil of gloom and death;
By faith man will survive.

Yea, our Easter still is true,
Our Master lives this day,
May our life a tribute be
To the price He had to pay.

"Because I live, ye shall live also,
Were the words Christ had to
May this comfort us as we walk
"Toward an eternal Easter Day.
