A Christian to me is a person who
Thinks not of himsself,
But yields to feelings of others and
Puts his own upon the shelf,
He's the person who's proud of Christ
And proud to do his will,
Glad to do the desires of God and the
Desire of Satan to kill.
He's the fellow who's praying hard
When the converts life renew;
Yes, he's the guy that turns that other cheek
In spite of what he wants to do,
Not the fellow who sings the loudest
Or claps his hand the most
And thinks he's not only a pillar in the church
But also the only post.

Is always the closest one to God
No matter what he thinks.
For in that chain that leads to Heaven
He's probably the weakest of links,
It's not what you think in your mind;
It's what you've got in your heart.
It's the finish line that counts in the race
And nt the speedy start.
So before you condemn your neighbor,
Search yourself. Are you so pure?
If you're completely perfect, you may
Then feel free to censure,
But remember God and His loving son
And all the love They send.
And when you kneel by the altar to pray,
Pray for that sinner friend.
