It’s was around 11:00 and Die had just finished making himself a bed on the floor in the living room.  Shinya was already asleep on the sofa.  Die went into his room to get another blanket.
“Hello.” Toshiya greeted him.
“I thought you were asleep?” Die asked him.  Toshiya reached next to the bed and turned on a lamp.  He was sitting up in Die’s bed, wearing nothing but the covers.
“I’m lonely.  Can you keep me company??” Toshiya asked innocently.
“I’m sleeping in the living room.  You will have to just deal with being alone.” Die replied trying not to get upset.  “Oh, and Toshiya why not get dressed?” He added as he turned to leave.  Before he could reach the door Toshiya leaped onto him, knocking him to the ground.  Die didn’t even have time to realize what had happened when he felt Toshiya kiss him hard.  Die tried to pull away but Toshiya was too strong for him.  Toshiya quickly stripped Die and dragged him onto the bed.  Die struggled against Toshiya trying to get him off.

Shinya awoke from his sleep with a start.  He heard a sound come from Die’s room as if someone had fallen to the floor.  He jumped up and ran to the room.  He opened the door and found a naked Toshiya sitting on top of a struggling Die whose hands were tied to the headboard of the bed.
“Stop it right there!!!  Toshiya get off of him!!” Shinya screamed making Toshiya turn around suddenly.  He stood up and walked over to Shinya.  Shinya stood his ground and stared at Toshiya.  Toshiya reached out an arm to grab Shinya by the shoulders but was met with a punch in the jaw.  Die watched everything from the bed, still tied and naked.  He was so surprised at how strong Shinya was.  Shinya left Toshiya standing by the door and went over to Die.  He untied Die and helped him up.  Die went to gather his clothes, and started to get dressed.
“Toshiya.  Why??” Shinya asked of him.  “He has helped you all day.  He was trying to help with the situation between you and Kaoru, and here you are trying to rape him of all things.  Why?? Why Die??”
Toshiya stood in the door way and looked at Shinya.  “Why?? You ask.  Why??  Well lets see.....Die has always been sweet and kind to me.  He also has a very nice body.  Why not??  I asked him to sleep with me and he said no.  No one has ever refused to sleep with me.”
Shinya walked over to Toshiya and put his hands on Toshiya’s throat.  “Die doesn’t belong to you.  He loves me, not you.  No one will ever harm Die as long as I am around.  You got that Toshiya??” Shinya asked.  Die watched the situation not knowing what to do.  Shinya let go of Toshiya and went into the living room.  Die followed Shinya.
“Toshiya.  I think you need to get dressed and leave at once.  I’ll tell kaoru you went home when he comes in the morning.” Die said just before leaving the room.  He joined Shinya in the living room.  Shinya was sitting on the sofa with his head buried in his hands.  Die sat along side of him and put am arm around Shinya.  Shinya turned and buried his head in Die’s shirt.
“Shin-chan.  It’s all right.” Die said stroking Shinya’s hair.
“ Oh Die!!  I don’t know what came over me.  I scare myself sometimes.  Now I know why Kaoru did what he did.”
“Shin-chan?” Die said as he lifted Shinya’s head.  “Don’t worry.  Oh and thanks for rescuing me.” Die added with a smile.  Shinya smiled back at Die and than reached his head up towards Die until their mouths met.  Die pulled Shinya deeper into the kiss and Shinya wrapped his arms around Die’s neck.  They stayed locked in the kiss until they had to break apart for lack of air.
“Your welcome.” Shinya said Die.  “Well I guess you know my answer to what you said earlier.” As Shinya said this the bed room door opened and Toshiya walked out.
“I’m leaving now.  Die look,...I’m sorry.  I don’t know what came over me.  I’m really sorry.  Can you forgive me?” Toshiya asked.
“I don’t know.  Did you forgive Kaoru this afternoon??  Will you apologize to him too.  You have hurt a few people today.  I thought Kaoru was the bad guy, but after tonight my opinion has changed.”
“Die.  Please forgive me.” Toshiya begged.
“I will only because I’m that kind of a person.”
“Thank you Die!” Toshiya said.  “I’m leaving now...Can I have a ride home??”
“Yeah.  But Shinya is coming with me.” Die said getting up from the sofa.  The three of them left the apartment.  Die and Shinya sat in the front of the car and left Toshiya alone in the back.  They reached Toshiya’s apartment without saying a word to each other.  Toshiya got out of the car and walked inside.  Die looked after Toshiya as he went into he went inside.
“Do you think he’ll be alright??” Die asked Shinya.
“I hope so.  Maybe we should call Kaoru.” Shinya responded before they drove off.
 

Toshiya walked into his apartment and closed the door.  He stood in the dark leaning against the door.
“What did I do??” he asked himself.  “What came over me?” Toshiya walked into his bed room, not bothering to turn on any lights, and threw himself onto his bed.  He laid, face down, sobbing into his pillow.
“How could I be so stupid!?!” he screamed between sobs.  “Why??  Why Die??  Of all people.” He was so upset, he wanted to take the nearest object and throw it through a window.  He looked up from his pillow at the table beside his bed.  On it was a letter from Kaoru and a single, red rose.  He picked up the rose and stared at it before finally picking up the letter.

“Dear Totchi
  My Koibito
I’m sorry for all that happened today.I know I was too harsh.
I would like to make it up to you somehow.  Please call me when
you get this.  I’m worried about you.
                                                                      Your Koi
                                                                      Kaoru
                           I’m sorry!!

Toshiya finished reading the letter.  The tears in his eyes flowed even harder.
“I’ve hurt the one man who really loves me, and my best friend.  Please forgive me!!” he said as he once more laid down on his pillow, finally crying himself to sleep.
