Another highly deserving re-issue, this time of a significant early cassette release by UK polemical power electronics master Mike Dando, AKA Con-Dom. Squealing high-end synth mayhem and crushing noise reinforce the barbarously distorted, hateful vocals as Con-Dom parodies and assaults the breathtaking stupidity of Christianity. Amusing samples of demented fundamentalist rednecks add colour and edge to this venomous attack. In jewel case with stark black and white artwork and a huge booklet of lyrics and artwork.

Dagda Mor - 'The Border of the Light' CD  (Functional)
A more recent jewel in the Functional crown, this CD collects material by this mysterious and brilliant German project from a variety of sources. Amazingly dense and mesmerisingly beautiful layers of distortion grind subtly against one other, as sampled and distorted voices echo sonorously amid the maelstrom. Obviously influenced by the German ‘heavy electronics’ school, Dagda Mor are midway between the crushing ambient power of Inade and the out-and-out power electronic assault of Genocide Organ, with sinister declamatory vocals. In jewel case with beautiful black and white artwork.

Deison - 'Dirty Blind Vortex' CD  (Crionic Mind)
A diverse CD, ranging from grinding ambient to violent harsh noise, including collaborative and remix works with Sshe Retina Stimulants, Lasse Marhaug, R.H.Y. Yau, Government Alpha, S. Isabella, and Baal. Limited to 500 copies, in jewel case with black and white artwork.

First Law - 'Revelation 5:2' MCD  (Stateart) �5 UK / �6 Europe / �7 ROW
A very fine and sinister conceptual piece concerning the Branch Davidian sect massacre in Waco, from this rising unit associated with the great Turbund Sturmwerk. Uneasy grinding atmospheres and incredibly bass-heavy percussion drive this almost classically structured gem, laced with sounds and voices sampled from the events in question. This limited edition item is packaged in a striking black, white and red fold-out textured card wallet adorned with appropriate photos.

Genitor Lvminis - 'Deam Adessa' 10"  (Stateart) �8.50 UK / �9.50 Europe / �10.50 ROW
Another of Stateart's discoveries, these newcomers produce excellent dark neo-classical industrial. Slow, pounding and ominous, their work eschews samples and obvious electronics in favour of a more grandiose symphonic style reminiscent of Russian classical works. This elegant piece comes lavishly packaged in a textured, green 10" sleeve together with a 7" sized booklet of subtle black and white photographs.

Ominous rumbling sub-bass ambient sludge laced with threatening noisier elements. More details soon.

This 10" contains four new tracks by this established Italian dark ambient unit, in a deep, droning style embellished in places by slow, almost death industrial rhythms for an unusual effect. Recommended to those who enjoyed the Megaptera CD we stocked last year. Another beautiful vinyl release on the German Stateart label, in a full colour card sleeve.

Debut CDR release from the main project of Maruta Kommand programmer John Hull. A brilliant and extremely intricate genre-defying hybrid of trip-hop, death metal and Goth elements with both male and female vocals. Somewhat reminiscent of Sanctum, although recorded before any members of Interlock had heard that band! Comes in standard jewel case with colour artwork.

Nearly seventy minutes of harsh, relentlessly morbid electro-death-industrial dead body muzak. From crushing dancefloor assaults laced with atmospheric horror and metal-banging percussion to sludgy descents into muddy death industrial hell with the aid of modern digital equipment and ravaged ambient drifts through no man's land, Maruta Kommand's debut album release following their appearance with the opening and closing tracks of the cult 'Transmissions of Power' CD compilation on The Grey Wolves' Open Wound label combines old-school industrial aesthetics with the structural sophistication of elektro and an uncompromisingly bleak vision of the holocaust of European youth in two world wars. Comes in standard jewel case with full colour artwork.
