| An enthusiastic
consumer and critic of morbid music, film and literature, Andi possesses minimal technical
skill and has no previous background as a musician. He has, however, been 'singing' since
childhood, including on stage. The concepts and themes of Maruta Kommand are largely his
work, brought to inspirational life by John's formidable talents. A weary habitué of the
UK Goth / EBM scene, he now gets his kicks from sinister industrial music. Other interests
include military history, his two cats and flightless seabirds. |

| Besides Maruta
Kommand, Andi is also active with John in the power electronics unit Stalker, runs the
small Kokampf
label and distributor, performs occasional DJ sets, writes for Meltdown magazine and
organises live
events with the Hinoeuma
club. |
