DESIGNING YOUR ROOMS
Altering an interior to make it more comfortable and attractive to use does not necessarily mean spending
a lot of money; but it does require careful thought. The success of a scheme will depend upon the skillful
handling of space, colour, texture, pattern, form and light.
Try to give every room by working to a basic style. This can be based on a historical theme, such as
the Regency or Victorian periods; or it can aim at creating a mood with matching colours. Alternatively,
a distinctive style can be associated with a particular way of life.
