Matt Ventresca and Dan Heller w/ Keith Dell'Aquila
Here is the setlist from the Matt and Dan show. Most of the songs
are obviously from Delusions of Apocalypse, however, I threw in
some new songs as well as a few covers.
Covers included 'Last American
Exit' by the Tragically Hip, part of 'Letter From Bilbao' and all
of 'Bleed a Little While Tonight' by the Lowest of the Low and the
set was closed with 'Winter Solstice' an instrumental by the Tea
Party.
New songs included 'Left Behind' (which is now available for download)
and 'Lost + Faded'.
'Sixty Second Love' was omitted
because...well...I didn't feel like playing it.
Other
Notes:
The pickup on my acoustic guitar decided to conveniently
malfunction minutes before Keith went on. This was such a nuisance
due to the shortage of mics we had and because a little volume never
hurt anyone.
Keith was
great as an opener. He has improved so much, and I can't wait to
hear more of his original material in the future. He also did a
knock-out job on the accompaniment for the Low tunes.
Dan was once again
perfection. He never ceases to amaze me. His piano really adds a
lot to my material, and I can't say enough about his own stuff.
But the kid needs to record!
We made a significant amount
of cash in donations for our two charities Habitat for Humanity
and Operation Foresight. Thanks to everyone who contributed!
And most importantly, thank
you to everyone who came and supported us. If I could thank each
one of you individually I would, but this will have to do. THANK
YOU, it means so much.
