RAINY NIGHT

Anxiously waiting,
Hopefully catching you
At the right moment.
I hear your footsteps
Shuffling across the floor.
We walk into the cold, rainy night
With a light breeze
Surrounding us.
Fearful of the night,
Whispers fill the air.
Holding me close into your arms,
I feel your warm breath
Gliding against my neck.
Hand in hand,
Clasped together,
Shivering to the cool, silent wind.
Pitter, patter, pitter, patter.
The rain falls on the
Top of our heads.
Running to the rhythm
Of the rain,
Our feet pounding on the floor.
The puddles splishing and splashing
Every step we take.
Pitter, patter, pitter, patter.
Safe from the rainfall,
We gaze into each other's eyes.
Yours, as blue as a
Precious sapphire sky.
Grasping onto my arms,
You bring me close
And kiss.
A long sweet kiss.
Pitter, patter, pitter, patter.
REFLECTION

When you look
Into a pond
You see yourself
As clear as can be.
Looking again
You ponder
Is it really me?

Is it really me?
You ponder
Looking again
As clear as can be.
You see yourself
Into a pond
When you look
WOMAN

I am a woman.
My hair is like a smouldering fire,
Glowing, but not in flames.
The amber in my eyes
Will tell you that I have no lies.
My lush, sensuous lips
Whisper secrets into your ear.
Maybe you will help me conquer
My darkest, deepest fears.
Each step I take
Is as light as a feather.
Twisting, turning, swirling,
I dance to the cool wind.
My feet lifting off the ground
And up into the air.
Joyfully playing and laughing
In the sun.
From head to toe,
I have many emotions:
Sorrow, innocence and devotion.
Whenever you break my heart,
I overflow with melancholy.
The anger I have will come rolling in
Like thunder on a stormy day.
I can roar like a lion,
Or hiss like a snake.
I am as strong as I can be,
To protect myself from harm.
If you abuse me,
I can fight back,
And I can win,
Because I am a woman.

FLY AWAY

A flock of birds fly
Scattering about the air,
Gunfire was blasted.
SNOWFLAKES

Violent flakes slicing
Gradually settling, in
An enclosed glass ball.
APPLES

The trees sway slowly
As the sun kissed apples swing,
A pain stricken head.
