:: Eid Al Saleeb Party on Baidar
This years party was a big success , as many people attended it. To some, this was their first visit ever to the Daiya... The party was opened by huge "Abuleh", big bang fireworks, and on the go snacks (burgers, zaatar-jibneh-kichek-labneh manakish and soft drinks...) and then was ended by the birthday party for three Mjadalouna residents: Najat Samir Deaibess, Amine Najib Moussa, and Rima George Moussa   ± Click on image for a larger view
:: First Village Wedding in 15 years In a rare event that occurs after 15 years in Majdalouna,Toni Najib Moussa and Joel Nicolas Murr said the Golden yes to each other in Dair el Moukhaless Church and was attended by the US embassador in Lebanon. The wedding was followed by a boom party in Majdalouna, in which all Majdalouna residents  participated. What sets this blessed marriage aside from others is the traditional Lebanese wedding that occurred: The Bride and Groom were held on shoulders all the way from Baidar to their house. Accompanied by the BIG DRUM beat played by the one and only Khalil Dagher and Wiliam Dagher, dabke and a big festival was followed... Cheers for Toni and Joel		03/08/2002
