| The bees were all three years old - all the mums went "ahhhhh" when they came on. During the actual performance one lost her feelers and then got stuck on the flower so she couldn't get off the stage. Another got stagefright, and had to be rescued by her mum. All together now: "ahhhhhh" |

| Completely star struck by this time, Eveline insisted on having about 37 photos taken until she found a pose she liked. I hope this isn't an omen that we have a future prima donna on our hands. |

| Here comes the scary cat... the apples are huge inflated gymnastic balls, covered with green velvet. The mice were all three and four, and had to be shepherded off stage by Saskia, who was surprisingly (and cutely) maternal towards them. |
