Warbirds
There's a rebellion of some sort that's taken place in a vaguely Arab county, but in this movie, who cares.
Cully Holland (where ever this eye candy came from) plays Vince Costello, an "an ex-Marine trained by the CIA"
who goes in as the ground man (whatever that is) for an AIR raid (like I said, who cares).
He arrives as the stereotypical American (whatever that is)
and meets the stereotypical Arab fanatic (whatever that is) who is a doulble agent.
Had enough? Press fast forward.
Cully is seated with headphones doing whatever a "ground man" in an AIR attack does when the evil Arab vilan walks in,
claps his hands and has two armed henchman grab Cully's tshirted arms.
The next time we see Cully, he is shirtless and is being dragged along by a rope collar
amongst a herd of extras whom I'm assuming the director of this masterpiece told to "look mean."
Then, things get good. They drag Cully over to the side of a tank and spreadeagle him, tieing his wrists to the tank and a long rope around his boots,
the other end of which they attach to another tank. They turn the other tank on and have themselves a very expensive rack.
They pull Mr. Costello's (as the mean Arab captain insists on calling him) legs while his arms remain tied to the other tank.
Next, they hang him by his boots from a turret and spin him around
until he gives in becuase the mean Arabs are menacing a girl (how gallant).
Then, the tie him up and toss him in a tent.
Later on, he breaks out and becomes a one-man killing machine

The Rating
Cully is a cutie and they put him through the works in this one.
He does without a shirt for most of the movie and he has a nice body.
You see them preparing him for the "tank rack," tieing his hands and feet and pulling him taught.
Instead of just suddenly seeing our hero ready for some torture,
you get to watch the prep work. There's no doubt that when you start this movie,
Mr. Costello is ending up in the hands of the bad guys. The foreshadowing is almost too much to bear.
This may well be one of the best hero abuse movies out there.
The pluses ...
The minuses ...
The movie itself sucks. Big time.
They keep interupting Mr Costello's angony with stupid one-liners and the continuation of this film's "plot."
Overall rating: 20
