Hurricane Smith
Carl goes to Australia to rescue his sister who has dissappeaerd into an underworld of Aussi mafia hooligans (yes, apperantly the have malevolent criminals in Australia). Like his other adventure in bondage, Carl takes the law into his own hands and gets in trouble on the wrong side of the law. He gets caught by some Aussie mobsters led by a poofy-haired "Don."
The night before Carl's date with rope, he breaks into the mobsters' compound and KOs and breaks bones and plays Mr Invincible. Not a good sign if you're hoping to see the hero captured. But, aparently, the head mobster is more ticked off that those of us hoping for some hero bondage. The next day, Carl wanders into a locker room and gets in a fight with our Aussie friends. Things don't start well as Carl seems to take them on with ease. Then, while the head thug is leaning against a locker and while Carl pummels one of his lackeys, another lackey looks concerned. Carl asks the head thug "Is this fun enough for you?"
The mobsters have had enoungh. The head thug nods and the concerned lackey hits Carl with the butt of his gun. Carl grunts and falls to the ground.
When we next see Carl, his flannel shirt has been removed and Carl's wrists have been tied above his head, his feet barely touching the ground. He gets a bucket of water tossed on him to revive him.
The Story ...
The Capture ...
The Rating
Carl is shirtless. The water is a nice touch. Two things really make this scene - one is the choice of binding. Carl is pulled very taught. His triceps nicely frame his face. His pecs and abs are tight and he doesn't look at all comfortable. His wrists are tied to a big pipe and as the beating goes on, you get nice close-ups of Carl's hands and the rope as he struggles (vainly) to pull himself up. The other is the beating Carl takes. Our Aussie friends were obviously not pleased with Carl and they take some revenge by punching him violently in the back. With every hit. Carl twists his taught body and grunts. He doesn't say anything because they never give him the chance. The beating is so severe that Carl passes out before too long.
The pluses ...
The minuses ...
This scene is way too short. Carl passes out after four or five blows and that's that. They put his shirt back on and toss him out of a car. That's the other problem. They let him go! After Carl caused them so much trouble, they just let him go! More should've been doen. This gets a better grade than Action Jackson becuase short though it is, it's still a pretty good scene. But, like Action Jackson, it disappoints after a promising start.
Overall rating: A mediocre 12
