Avenged Sevenfold-Waking the Fallen

Waking the Fallen was the sophomore release from the Orange County-based band known as Avenged Sevenfold. Although sounding more like something in the genre of metalcore, they have described their influences as anywhere from Iron Maiden to Pantera. They began recording their first album, Sounding the Seventh Trumpet, while they were still in high school. They began their musical career earlier, and it is flourishing now, finding them in the studio working on a brand new album.
