Calculate your grade: Average exercises * 20% + 1st midterm exam *25% + 2nd midterm exam * 25% + Final exam *30% Average exercise= sum of your exercises( after dropping the two lowest)/ sum of the max exercise (without the two you dropped) Students who missed one exam: Average exercises * 20% + midterm exam *35+ Final exam *45% 14. Students who don't have the outline of final review may get it by the link Final Review.(04/15/02) 13. Final exam will be on 04/21/2002, from 10:00am-11:45am. A cheat sheet of 5"*7" is allowed to bring.(04/15/02) 12. A cheating sheet can be brought to 2nd midterm exam. But please note: a) Paper size: 5"*7", ONE side. b) Word size: 10. 11. If one can't take either on the 2nd or final exam, must let me know at least 1 week before the exam. Any late notification is not acceptable. If one can't take the exam because of illness, a doctor's note MUST be hand in. Students who missed the 1st midterm exam with specific reasons MUST take both of the 2nd and final exam.(03/10/02) 10. Final exam will be on 04/21/2002. All the chapters I taught will be covered. (03/10/02) 9. Optional presentation by group will be on 04/14. The participants of this presentation will get 5 bonus points on their final grade. The presentation should be one explains a piece of news, an economy situation or a firm's development (bankruptcy) by using the knowledge learned in this course. 8. The 2nd midterm exam will be on 04/07. The midterm will cover Chapter 5,6,7,8. After exam, I will finish chapter 12 (Monopoly).(03/10/02) 7. No class on Easter Sunday 03/31. (03/04/02) 6. No class on 03/17 because of spring break.(03/04/02) 5. The class of this week (02/17) is canceled. (02/15/02) 4. The first mid-term exam will be on Feb. 24. The procedure of download and print notes (You need to install MSoffice-PowerPoint to open my notes): (01/05/02) 1). Click the "File" button on the top bar of the window. 2). On the menu that appears, click "Save as" button to save the notes in your own computer. 3). Open the saved notes as a "read only" ppt file. 4). Print it as handouts.
