| How do hurricanes form? |
| 1.Hurricanes start off as thunderstorms in tropical waters near the equator. 2.When the storm has counter-clockwise circulation and low pressure at sea level and cloud level it will become a tropical depression. 3.When the tropical depression has wind speeds of 39 mph it becomes a tropical storm. It also recives a name. 4.The storm continues to strengthen. 5.When the storm's wind speed increases to 75 mph it becomes a hurricane. And thats how hurricanes become hurricanes! |
