~Genesis of Life~

I'm not anyone's hero�
But pain and loss can make a Rider out of any man.
Chancing it, the thrill of death�
A speed addict going as fast as he can.

They needed a savior for mankind.
So I left my life behind�

And now I've found this place, where the sun shines, and the colored birds fly!
Untouched by the Atom, here in the rainforests, under a new, blue sky.
Here in the rainforest we will live�

I'm not a guardian of the future�
I don't care, I can't see the speedometer's dials.
It's pushing past my vision�
As I blur through the miles.

But here in South America, I've found a place. A place untouched by petty war and strife!
And here, in the brilliant green, under waterfalls, we can rebuild our life.
Here in the rainforest we will live�

I'm not a fallen angel�
I'm as flawed as anyone, yet they chose me to fly.
I'm an empty man in armor�
Searching for a new, blue sky.

I've brought the survivors here.
No more searching through rubble or over all the broken highways.
The people welcome us here, to a peaceful, simple life�
And restful days.

I am the Radiation Rider.
Searching for the new, blue sky�
The endless battle has ended.
I've found a new, blue sky�

And though we are all safe, and mankind must flourish, I still smell of the ashy wastelands!
And though my horse of steel sleeps now under a tarp, I've still got these gloves on my hands!

I don't think they understand�
Giving your life to others, not caring about dying.
Once you're in the sky�
How can you stop flying?

There's no more laughing at the hearse. No more riding to be done. There had to be nothing else
in my life so I could succeed. Now I face the rainforest, and I hear the sounds of the people who usec to depend on me down below.

The birds fly over the trees, and past the sun.

I can feel the wind blowing, brushing past my skin, it has not felt the air in years.

I take off my helmet! Then the mask!
Erase the old pain�there's no more nuclear wars to fight!
This prison can't contain me! I want to live with these people!
I want to feel it again�the wind and the light!
I'm free of this armor!

There's no place for me now, and no one left to save, I'm lost and alienated, like a broken vow.
I've rode so long, under charred sky, never letting myself stop, can I finally let myself rest now?

I'll live so free now, feel the rain, the wind and sun.
The game is over, the dice cast.
There's no more need for sorrowful riding, I see life!
I see it in the smiles of the children as they run past�

I'm not a fallen angel, as you can see. My horse will now rust.
They can find their way without me, let that armor gather dust�

I walk alone�
