This tutorial was written for PSP 9
but can also be done in other versions.

MATERIALS NEEDED:
Download the supplies here.

FILTERS NEEDED
 Toadies - Blast and Blur
Screenworks - Pixel Shade

THE COLOR PALETTE
Change the foreground color to white,
background to #36620b.

Open all the images in the zip file and save it in your folders.
Or you can open them in PSP and minimize them
Open a new transparent canvas, 500 x 500 pixels.
Fill with the background color.
Copy and paste the tube 'pine wreath EGS'
onto the canvas.
Move it to the top.

Copy and paste the tube 'Christmas List'
onto the canvas.
Apply a drop shadow:
H & V - 2Dekking 50
Opacity -  10
Color - black.
Repeat with H & V on -2


Activate the Pen tool:
Width 1.
Line style  - Diamond
Vector - checked
Draw a line through the center of the pine wreath.
The ball will hang on this string :-)


Draw a second and third line to the left and right of the first line.
Convert the vector layer to raster layer in the Layers palette.
Select a Xmas ball from the ABruil tubes.
Copy and paste it onto the canvas.

Image --> Resize: 75%.
Apply a drop shadow.
Drag the ball to the bottom of the string.
Layers --> Duplicate.
Drag this ball below one of the other strings.
Duplicate the ball layer again
and drag it below the third string..
You have three balls hanging onto three strings now.
Layers --> Merge --> Merge Visible.

Activate your Text tool and find a nice font:
Annabelle Matinee, size 36, was used
in the example tag by Jeanne.

Change the foreground to white,
background to #cd0800.
Type the text on the image.
Apply a drop shadow>
Layers --> Merge --> Merge All.

Activate your Crop Tool and cut the excess off
around th image.

Change the foreground color to a gold pattern,
background to #36620b.


*Image --> Add Border: 2 pixels white.
Select with the Magic Wand and fill with the gold pattern.
Filter Screenworks --> Pixel Shade
Selections --> Select None.
Image --> Add Border: 10 pixels: color #36620b.
Effects --> Texture Effects --> Blinds:
Width - 4
Opacity - 50
'Horizontal' and 'Light from the Top' - checked.
Color - black
Selections --> Select None/
Image --> Add Border: 2 pixels white.
Select with theMagic Wand and fill with gold.
Filter Screenworks - Pixel Shade.*



Image --> Add Borders --> 20 pixels, color #36620b.
Filter Toadies - Blast and Blur
Effects --> Edge Effects --> Enhance.
Repeat all the steps from * to *.

Image --> Resize: 90%.
Add your watermark.
