This tutorials was written for PSP 9.

MATERIALS NEEDED:
Download the supplies here.
Save the mask 'beryl 0049' in your PSP Mask folder.
Save the 'karincirkels' preset in your PSP Preset folder.

Change the foreground color to #ce2029,
backround to #006400.
Change the background to gradient:
Style - Linear
Angle - 45
Repeats - 7
Invert - checked.

Open a new transparent canvas, 450 x 450 pixels.
Fill with the gradient.

Effects --> Reflections Effects --> Kaleidoscope
with all settings on 0.
Repeat factor on 7.
Mirror - checked.

Layers --> Load Mask From Disk.
Find the 'beryl 0049'- mask:

Source Luminance - checked
Fit to canvas - checked
Hide all mask - checked.
Apply.
Delete mask in the Layers palette and reply 'yes'
to the pop-up question.
Layers --> Merge --> Merge Group

Add a new layer.
Layers --> Merge --> Merge Visible.

Change the foreground color to a gold pattern.
Activate the Preset Shapes Tool.
Find the 'Karincirkel 14'- preset.
Draw a shape from the top left to the bottom right.

Copy and paste the 'Kerstgroen'- tube onto the canvas.
Move it to the top - to the top of the star ( see example)
Layers --> Duplicate.
Image --> Mirror.
Layers --> Duplicate
Image --> Rotate: Right - 90 degrees.
Drag it to the right side point.
Layers --> Duplicate
Image --> Mirror.

Copy and paste the tube 'besjes.pspimage'
onto the canvas.
Move it over the green.
Do it with all the green.

Copy and paste the tube 'Susan kerst'
onto the canvas.
Move the child to the bottom right (example)

Add a new layer.
Change the foreground color to white,
background to gold pattern.

Activate the Text tool and find a nice font.
'Snowdrift', size 30, was used in the example
tag by Jeanne.
Rotate the name and position it in a nice spot.

Add our watermark.

Layers --> Merge --> Merge All.

Open a new transparent canvas, size 450 X 450 pixels.
Copy your first image and paste it onto the green canvas.
Add a 1 pixel white border.
Select with the Magic wand and fill with the gold pattern.
Selections --> Select None.

You are ready to add the animation now :-))
